Team Pro Tuesdays

Play and chat with Team PokerStars Pros.  PokerStars is home to the biggest names in poker.
There’s World Champions like Joe Cada, Chris Moneymaker and Peter Eastgate, legends like
Daniel Negreanu, plus young stars like Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier - all under the proud name
of Team PokerStars Pro. You’ll find them playing online regularly, but now we’re giving you
even more chances to watch them play, chat and even compete against them for cash in our
Team Pro Tuesdays promotion.

On this day every week, scores of our pro players will be logging on and playing at the tables,
covering everything from cash games to tournaments, across a wide range of games and buy-
in levels. You’ll be able to watch your favourite players in action, and talk to them from the rail.

But that’s not all. Team Pro Tuesdays will also include two Outlast the Pro tournaments, where
you can play against the big names and win cash by lasting longer than the Pros. There are
two tournaments running each Tuesday from January 27- February 23. One at 13:00 ET,
another at 20:00 ET. Each has a buy-in of only $11, with $1,000 added to the prize pool. Stay in
the tournament longer than all the Pros and you’ll get to split the extra cash with the other
players still left in.
This is your chance to win a fantastic trip to Las Vegas and be a guest at one of hockey’s
biggest events of the year - The NHL Awards. Simply play in one of the many qualifier
tournaments - running from February 1 - for your shot at going to Sin City for a fun-packed
weekend of entertainment! There are freerolls and low buy-in qualifiers available for players in
the US, which means you could win without spending a dime.

You’ll be playing to advance to the Grand Final on April 4. Make it there and you’ll be competing
against other NHL fans - plus special guest players like Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu
and NHL legend Brett Hull* - for a prize package that includes tickets to the awards ceremony for
you and three friends. We’ll also throw in your flights to Las Vegas, accommodation and even
spending money! What’s more, there’s also Dallas Stars gear for players who make it big in the
Semi Finals and the Grand Final.
We’ve made several improvements to our PokerStars VIP Club benefits for the coming year.
Our new VIP Stellar Rewards program delivers players cash as they reach designated VPP
levels throughout the year. We’ve also made it easier to earn SilverStar status and maintain
Supernova status. Our new quarterly $1,000,000 VIP freerolls will reward hundreds of players.

New: VIP Stellar Rewards

All VIP Club members can take advantage of our new VIP Stellar Rewards program. We’re
starting out by offering $10 to all players who reach 750 VPPs this year. The rewards just add
up from there, with $50 rewards starting at 5,000 yearly VPPs and $100 rewards starting when
players reach 50,000 VPPs. The final VIP Stellar Reward at 90,000 VPPs brings the total up to
$1,000 cash for each player. To claim your share, just reach the required number of VPPs and
purchase the appropriate VIP Stellar Reward from the PokerStars VIP Store for just 1 FPP.

Changes in VPP Earning
We’ve simplified our method for awarding VPPs to players. Many players will earn VPPs and
FPPs faster, especially in tournaments and Sit & Go's.

$1,000,000 Quarterly VIP Freerolls
Players spoke, and we listened. New $1,000,000 quarterly VIP freerolls will replace the old
$75,000 weekly freerolls. All Supernova VIPs can enter these tournaments for free. GoldStar
VIPs and PlatinumStar VIPs will have the opportunity to earn their way in through FPP entry
satellites.

Battle of the Planets
Battle of the Planets - Sit & Go Tournament Leaderboard

Get ready for blast off, because PokerStars new weekly Leader Board
promotion is truly out of this world. The Battle of the Planets gives
PokerStars Sit & Go players a chance to compete against each other for
prizes worth more than $3,000,000 per year.
In the Battle of the Planets, PokerStars multi-player Sit & Go tournaments have been separated
into eight divisions, all named after planets in our solar system. Everyone can take part in the
competition, no matter how high or low stakes they play. Each planet represents a different range
of buy-ins, from Mercury ($1-$2.99) to Jupiter ($300+).

Each of the eight planet divisions are split into two individual Leader Boards. The first is the Low
Orbit Leader Board, which is tailored towards casual and recreational players. The second is the
High Orbit Leader Board, which is more suited to high volume players.

Each planet division has its own weekly prize pool, distributed evenly between the two Leader
Boards. This gives all players a chance to win some serious cash prizes, no matter what their
level of experience or the size of their bankroll.

But that’s not all. Every player that finishes in the top 10 of any weekly Sit & Go Leader Board will
receive an exclusive ticket to a monthly tournament. This “Battle of the Planets” will see the
highest ranking players from each division come together to fight it out in a triple shootout, for a
monthly prize pool of $50,000!
Multi-Table Tournament Leaderboard
Multi-Table Tournament Leader Board

Every time you place in the top 15% of a regular multi-table tournament,
you will be awarded Tournament Leader Board (TLB) points. The
amount of points varies depending on the buy-in of the tournament, the
number of entries and the position in which you finish.
TLB points count towards the following three leader boards.

Weekly Leader Board
The player with the highest weekly TLB score gets an opportunity to play against a member of
Team PokerStars Pro in a heads-up challenge match the following Sunday. The Weekly TLB
winner gets to choose the game, with the match itself taking place at 14:00 ET on Sunday. The
prize pool starts at $1,000 and carries over to next week's match if the Team PokerStars Pro
wins.

Monthly Leader Board
The players that finish in the top 200 of the Monthly Leader Board will share $30,000 in cash
prizes, with first place claiming $5,000. In addition, the top 1,000 players will each receive a
ticket to a $20,000 Monthly TLB freeroll.

Yearly Leader Board
The winner of the Yearly Tournament Leader Board will win a five-stamp PokerStars Passport.
This includes buy-in, hotel accommodation and spending money for five major
PokerStars-sponsored live tournaments. The players that finish second and third will win
three-stamp and two-stamp PokerStars Passports respectively.
